Apantac, DA-HDTV-DANTE-Tx-UHD

Plugin Description

The APANTAC DA-HDTV-DANTE-Tx-UHD Q-SYS Plugin provides seamless integration and control of the Apantac DA-HDTV-DANTE-Tx-UHD multi-codec HDMI to Dante audio converter within the Q-SYS ecosystem. This plugin enables system integrators and AV professionals to monitor and configure the DA-HDTV-DANTE-Tx-UHD converter directly from the Q-SYS Designer interface or any custom created interface needed, eliminating the need for separate configuration tools or manual device management.

By leveraging this plugin, Q-SYS users gain centralized control over speaker layout selection and real-time status monitoring. The plugin streamlines workflow efficiency by providing live device information feedback and essential configuration controls within the familiar Q-SYS environment. This integration is particularly valuable in professional AV installations where multiple Dante-enabled devices need to be managed cohesively, such as broadcast facilities, live event venues, houses of worship, and immersive audio installations requiring support for advanced codecs like Dolby ATMOS, DTS:X, and Auro3D.

Key features

  • IP-Based Device Configuration - Simple network integration through the IP Address field, enabling quick device connection.

  • Real-Time Connection Monitoring - The Connection Status indicator provides instant feedback on device connectivity between Q-SYS and the converter.

  • Comprehensive Device Information Display - Automatic retrieval and display of device parameters including Device Name, Firmware Version, and Decoder Status for quick system identification, verification and troubleshooting.

  • Speaker Layout Management - View the Current Speaker Layout and select a Speaker Layout to match your installation's audio distribution requirements.
